Welcome to my world, a place where the history of Ypres and the enchantment of Bruges come together. It’s here, in the heart of the Westhoek, that my passion for history began, deeply rooted in the poignant stories of the First World War. At the same time, I feel just as at home in the medieval streets of Bruges, where I earned my city guide diploma and was swept away by the timeless beauty of the city.
These two cities, so different yet so closely tied to my own journey, form the foundation of my work. As a guide, I take you to the places that genuinely move me. Whether we’re wandering through the historic center of Bruges or exploring the impressive battlefields around Ypres, I believe that history truly comes alive only when you know the stories behind it.
My travels have also led me to the French Ardennes and Lorraine, where I discovered even more stories waiting to be told as a tour leader. Together, we’ll turn every trip into an unforgettable experience, where we not only visit places but also feel and live the history.
